Fish Processing & Shipping
We fillet, vacuum-pack, and freeze your catch. Up to two 48 lb insulated boxes per person included, ready to check as airline luggage.

Your package rate is per person, based on double occupancy. (Solo travelers, please note there is a $1,500 single-occupancy surcharge.) Your stay includes three meals a day plus snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to pick up wine, beer, or spirits in town. Our cook will meet with you to discuss any dietary needs.

All rooms feature private en suite baths, spa robes, quality beds with luxury linens, blackout blinds, and tasteful décor. Daily housekeeping is included, and we will even do a load of laundry for you,  just place it in the provided bag in your closet and housekeeping will return it that evening. We do our best to honor room requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed. Free WiFi is available, and you’ll find satellite TV and Netflix in the great room.

We provide all the gear you need: rain gear, waders, rods, reels, boots, buckets, shovels – everything required for your Alaska adventures. Fishing licenses and stamps are included. Auntie Dorothy is available to answer questions and help you book the best fishing and sightseeing trips. Maps, directions, and activity information are always on hand.

We strongly recommend renting a vehicle in Anchorage and driving to the lodge. You’ll use your vehicle to reach daily excursions and will appreciate the freedom to sightsee, whether that’s exploring Homer after a halibut trip or heading into town for an evening out.

Your fish are filleted, vacuum-packed, and frozen before being packed into insulated 48 lb boxes for your flight home. Two boxes per person are included, which is just the right amount for most guests.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM (arrive by 5:00 PM if you’d like dinner). Appetizers are served at 5:00 and dinner at 5:30. Meals are served every day except one evening, when we encourage you to enjoy a local restaurant while our cook takes a well-deserved night off. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

If you’d like to ship gear or wine ahead, we’ll store it and place it in your room before you arrive. Please use FedEx or UPS (we cannot accept USPS).
