You will find special Alaskan touches in every room. The Lodge has an extensive collection of Alaskan Art by Alaskan Artists.  You will continuously notice different pieces and memeroabilia throughout.  Every room has a large private bath and our famous never ending hot water. The "Mint Fairy" will visit your room, turn down the bed and leave a sweet treat on your pilow.   When you are ready to call it a day, crack your window and let the sounds of the creek lull you to sleep.  Pull the black out blinds down and the heavy quilts across your window and sleep peacefully under the midnight sun.

Every where you look there is attention to detail.  The doors to the balconies are leaded beveled glass that send a prisim of colored light into the rooms.  Each covered  balcony or patio is outfitted for your relaxing comfort.  You will even find a collection of old Alaskan children's sleds,  A wagon wheel that was used to hall frieght to the peninsula, dog sleds, log home building tools, and too many things to mention.  There are several fire pits, although the favorite one is Dustin's right next to the "Fish House"  with plenty of chairs, a huge wood pile and a lot of conversation and laughter. Coolers are stacked outside, help yourself.  Hip boots are hanging on the side of the "Fish House."  Buckets and shovels are handy   You can try out the horseshoes, one group every evening did what they called "H-B-H-B  -horsehoes-beer, hottub-bed"   There are extensive decks, outside tables, even a heater on the deck for chilly nights. Inside you will find a full library with comfy chairs, couches and a wide selection of books.  Or pull out one of the board games, Chess, Backgammon, Cribbage, or sit up to the game table and get a friendly game of poker going.  There is a fridge on every level for your use.  Plenty of relaxing areas, Dish TV, DSL high speed WIFI through out the lodge.

Each room with it's own private bath has all the amenities you could want.  You will find spa robes in your closet, extra pillows, blankets and a luggage rack.  We take care of everything from glasses cleaners to "Hotties"  for your pockets.  If you want a heater, fan, humidifier, or iron and ironing board - just let us know.  Our display case in the front hall has a selection of toothpast, tooth brushes, razors, shaving cream, more soaps, pain relivers, rain ponchos, just about anything you may have forgotten and they are all complimentary.  Plus check out the recipe cards and booklets, be sure to take some home with you to try out on all the fish you caught.  You will also find some Russell Fishing hats and jackets plus some Crooked Creek attire.
